In a peaceful jungle, near a sparkling lake, lived a colony of mice. They were happy until, one day, a herd of elephants arrived, stomping through their tiny homes. Many mice were injured, and their nests were destroyed.
Chiku, the wisest mouse, bravely approached the elephant king. “O mighty one, your herd is harming us. We are small, but we too have a right to live. Please take another path to the lake.”
The elephant king, surprised by the little creature’s courage, nodded. “We did not mean to hurt you. From now on, we will use another route.”
The mice were grateful and rebuilt their homes.
Months later, hunters came and trapped the elephants in strong nets. No matter how hard they struggled, they couldn’t break free.
Hearing their cries, Chiku gathered his friends. “The elephants helped us once. Now, it’s our turn to help them.”
The mice rushed to the trapped elephants and began gnawing at the ropes with their sharp teeth. One by one, the elephants were freed.
The elephant king bowed to the mice. “We once thought you were too small to matter, but today, you have saved us. True strength lies in kindness and wisdom.”
From that day, the elephants and mice became the best of friends.
Moral: Never underestimate anyone based on their size—small friends can make a big difference.
